Nicolas has been working in the field of intellectual property for more than twenty years. He advises both Swiss and international clients in all areas of intellectual property and the internet (trademarks, industrial designs, copyright, domain names, etc.).
As an expert in the setting up of global strategies for the protection of trademarks and industrial designs, Nicolas works with his clients so as to identify their precise needs, both in the acquisition and in the maintenance of their rights. He also advises and assists his clients with respect to judicial procedures before Swiss, French or European legal or administrative bodies or institutions.
In addition, he intervenes in cases of unfair competition and/or passing off and he has acquired a recognised expertise in the field of geographical indications and appellations of origin.
Nicolas regularly assists his clients with regard to all contract negotiations relating to intellectual property matters (transfer of rights, licensing, co-existence agreements, etc.) as well as offering advice on protection strategies.
Apart from his experience as a Swiss, French and European intellectual property Attorney, Nicolas has also practiced as an intellectual property specialist in the United States, Canada and New Zealand.
